PlayNow casino back online

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation's PlayNow casino is finally up and running after a few early teething problems.
It was a case of 'take 2' for PlayNow.com, which launched last month but was soon unavailable due to technical issues.
It was initially thought the site's unavailability was caused by high traffic server loads but it was subsequently revealed that security breaches had occurred which included player account details being improperly accessed.
After a month of damage control in the press and work beefing up security controls the casino re-launched last Thursday.
It wasn't exactly smooth sailing second time around either with more gremlins shutting the site down until the 2am Friday morning. Although this time they weren't security related but rather, 'normal issues in getting a large website up and running again' according to a BCLC spokesperson.
So it seems it's now full steam ahead for PlayNow and BC punters wanting to give it a crack. By Friday morning 110 had registered accounts and just over $50,000 had been bet on the games.
