Sega In the Online Casino Game

Video gaming giant Sega has made an entry into the online casino market in a recent partnership deal with Playtech.
SEGAGames has decided to branch out from video games and enter the online casino and poker markets, operating a casino from SegaCasino.com and poker room at SegaPoker.com.
Both casino and poker operations will be powered by Playtech, giving Sega access to broad platform of games, including a well established progressive jackpot network, mobile and live dealer games as well as Playtech's iPoker network. They intend to add SEGA branded games including Sonic the HedgeHog to Playtech's existing stable of RNG games.
Apparently both SegaCasino.com and SegaPoker.com will be licensed in Alderney and will leverage SEGA's existing SegaPass e-wallet platform for payment processing.
This foray into the net casino market by a major Japanese corporation comes amidst rumors that Japan may soon relax its current anti-online gambling stance in favor of a regulatory regime that will help generate government revenues.
