Microgaming's mobile platform developer Spin3 has won an award for excellence in mobile content development.
The awards, run by Telco industry analysts Visiongain, recognise excellence in all facets of the mobile industry value chain from service providers, to handset manufacturers, to software developers and are adjudicated by a panel of independent industry experts.
In somewhat of a coup for a developing business, Spin took out the Gold award in the category of Best Mobile Game and Gambling Service.
Spin3 was described by Visiongain's Head Telecoms Analyst as "a pioneer in the mobile gambling space."
"In the past year, Spin3 set out to launch a truly innovative and compelling product geared towards the flourishing success of the iPhone. With razor sharp graphics and advanced in-game effects, its product is arguably on a par with online casinos, presenting a truly exciting breakthrough for mobile gaming."
It's been a big year for Spin3. Still in its relative infancy and operating in an industry that is very much in its genesis, the company has already won the support of a large number of licensee online casinos, including big name brands Ladbrokes an 32 Red, now offering its mobile platform. They also managed to receive an eCOGRA accreditation earlier this year...becoming the first mobile platform provider to do so.
