The biggest poker show on earth, WSOP's main event final table has been decided.
The final 9 players will resume play in November to decide this years WSOP champion before live ESPN coverage and a massive worldwide audience. The winner will take home $8,546,435 in cash and the coveted WSOP main event gold bracelet.
Included in the November 9, is Team FullTilt member and poker superstar Phil Ivey. Ivey earned a spot at the final table with a call on 11th place finisher Jamie Robbins after Robbins went all in holding Q,K, off suit. Ivey's Ace, 10 were good enough to take him to the final table and a shot at just about the only prize in poker he hasn't yet attained.
It continues a dream run at WSOP 2009 for Ivey which has seen him win 2 gold bracelets already. But a win in November is far from assured, taking 9.765 million in chips to the table against nine other players including chip leader Darvin Moon with a massive 58,930,000 chip stack to play with.
Moon, a relative poker novice who has only been playing for 3 years, said yesterday he had enjoyed an amazing run of good hands helping him accumulate his chip lead.
