Online betting exchange Betfair has joined the exclusive 3 million customer club.
The company, based in London and conceived just on 10 years ago, has announced that they have just signed up their 3 millionth customer registration.
Other interesting statistics revealed by CEO David Yu in a recent release, were the operation's daily transaction volume (6 million), total bets handled in the last year (500 million), and annual revenue (£303 million).
Apparently the 2.5 million mark was hit only a year ago so rate of acquisition is increasing substantially. And with the Soccer World Cup just around the corner, Yu is confident of hitting the 4 million milestone before long.
'With what should be the biggest betting event of all time just around the corner in the World Cup, we will be looking to build on this achievement as we power our way to four million,' he said.
